Aeronautical Information in the Digital Environment [IM-AIDE]

Classroom Course
It is essential to establish the adequate processes to place the future AIM in a position to better serve airspace users and ATM in terms of their information management requirements. The new ICAO and EASA regulations introduced new requirements for the digitalisation, standardisation, interoperability and quality of aeronautical data/information through adequate data management processes. This course will cover the fundamentals of AIS/AIM data management, covering the data collection, data processing and data distribution phases. You can complement this course with the course IM-REG: The regulatory context in the AIS/AIM domain to gain an insight into the regulatory aspects of the AIS/AIM domain.
