Airport Capacity and Performance [APT-ACAP]

Classroom Course
With the introduction of the SES framework, the need for familiarisation with airport capacity and its performance in the network context has become a very important topic. IR 390/ 2013 requires local target setting for airports at national level. In many cases smaller airports have no means for assessing their capacities. The Stakeholders/Actors involved in ATM do not have the same background on all parts of the network, in this case airports and the determination of their capacity. If the Network CDM processes are to be improved, a better understanding of the existing interdependencies is pivotal.
At the end of the course, ATM stakeholders should have an understanding of airport capacity and its relevance within the network context.
Airport Planners, Flow managers, ATC staff (Tower), NSAs, Airline Operators, Performance Managers.
