The GBAS implementation course aims to provide an overview of the technology and application of Ground Based Augmentation Systems for GNSS to airport, ATC and airline operations. Basic knowledge of the function of GNSS systems are of benefit to understand the course material.

Day One will cover basic principles, architecture, services and the regulatory context, while the second day is dedicated to the air-ground interface and the ground subsystem functions. The third day is dedicated to installation, airport infrastructure integration, siting, and the roles and responsibilities in operations, while the fourth day covers airborne systems and operations, including ATM and procedure design aspects.

On the last half day, data analysis, evaluation and monitoring, notably with the PEGASUS toolset, are introduced.
