  Case studies with experts
This course provides participants with a place to present their work (Part 2) and get feedback from both the instructional team and other course participants.
A maximum of four presentations may be presented during this virtual classroom course, either individually or by a group of participants in the case of a joint presentation.
The presentations should not focus on the technical details of the specific change under assessment, but rather on:

  • the application of the generic steps of its safety assessment and/or safety support assessment, and their main outputs;
  • the difficulties encountered;
  • the solutions implemented;
  • the lessons learned.

The course duration may be reduced depending on the actual number of presentations.
The presentations must address the minimum content described in an email which will be sent to the participants about three months before the course starts.

Prerequisites
There are two mandatory pre-requisites for attendance of the Part 3 course:
  • Successful completion of the relevant Part 1 course (SAF-CHG-AC-1)

Important Note

    • to make sure that everybody can access the sessions online;
    • to make sure that everybody can use the basic tools and functionalities needed (share presentation/screen, raise your hand, chat, make use of a tablet or tool to share a drawing, etc.);
    • to deliver the introduction module.
  • The duration of the course (two days by default, split into four virtual sessions, one in the morning from 10:00 to 11:30 at the latest, and one in the afternoon from 14:00 to 15:30 at the latest) may be reduced depending on the actual number of presentations to be delivered.
