This course supports the regulatory oversight function in relation to changes to the ATM system (Commission Regulation No. 1034/2011).
The course focuses on the role that a national supervisory authority (NSA) must perform in order to provide proper oversight of air traffic management service providers making such changes.
Note that the common requirements for the provision of air navigation services (Commission Regulation No. 1035/2011) placing obligations on service provider organisations when making changes to the ATM system is also in the scope of this course.

It is recommended that as a minimum, course participants should follow the introduction to the ATM/ANS regulatory environment [LEX-SES-E] e-learning module.
After completing the course, participants will have a thorough understanding of the aspects that have to be considered during the safety oversight of changes in ATM
This course is designed for staff working within an NSA. It is also of interest to staff working for Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP).
Candidates passing the examination will receive a certificate of accomplishment. Other candidates will receive a certificate of attendance.
No fee applies for course participants from Member State Certified Organisations. The training cost is sponsored by the EUROCONTROL Work Programme.
