Airport Collaborative Decision Making [APT-ACDM]

Classroom Course
Given the traffic movements expected in the aviation industry in the coming years and the recent enhancements to the ATC en-route network, European airports risk becoming a restricting bottleneck of the overall ATM system. It is therefore important to make the best possible use of the existing airport infrastructure.
Airport CDM is about partners working together more efficiently and transparently in how they work and share data. This course begins by highlighting the importance of full and common operational situational awareness for airport partners. It then goes on to explain to participants how to fully implement Airport CDM at their respective airports and describes the local benefits, the return on investment and the gains envisaged for the overall ATM network.
The course will include presentations from airports which have already implemented CDM and demonstrations of specific CDM benefits.
Further information on Airport CDM is available at :
After completing the course participants will have a detailed understanding of the Airport CDM concept and will have received practical guidance on its implementation. In addition, they will have gained an understanding of the difficulties that may be encountered and of how to successfully secure support from colleagues. There is an emphasis on benefits to all airport partners.
This course is designed for operational staff of ANSPs, airports, airlines and ground handlers. It may also be of interest to anyone from other organisations involved in the implementation of ACDM activities.
Certificate awarded
All candidates will receive a certificate of attendance.
