The EU regulation 73/2010 (laying down requirements on the quality of aeronautical data and aeronautical information for the single European sky) , also known as ADQ, is being implemented in Europe. This course aims to provide stakeholders with the necessary understanding, tools, and experience to proceed with this challenging task. The course will interest all actors involved in the aeronautical data chain, from data originators to regulators involved in overseeing the rule implementation. It covers the rule, the means of compliance, metadata, data sets, data exchange and distribution, data quality as well as formal arrangements, automation, and many other topics like conformity assessment and institutional aspects. It concludes with the latest developments and the ADQ implementation plan.Lessons learned from the field will be brought into the course with implementers coming to share their experience. The course features exercises and an examination.
Basic knowledge of AIS/AIM processes. Having had a preliminary contact with ADQ.
The course objectives are the following:
- present the rule and the means of compliance
- present metadata, data sets, data exchange and distribution, data quality, formal arrangements, automation
- present conformity assessment and institutional aspects.
- share lessons learned form practitioners in the field
- support the establishment of an ADQ implementation plan
All ADQ regulated parties: AIS/AIM staff, ANSP, Industry Stakeholders involved in ADQ implementation, Management, and also the Regulators themselves
Candidates passing the examination will receive a certificate of accomplishment. Other candidates will receive a certificate of attendance.
No fee applies for course participants from Member States’ competent authorities and certified organisations. The training cost is sponsored by the EUROCONTROL Work Programme. The price per course participant from other organisations or individuals is 1500 EUR.
