The introduction of ADS-B and Multilateration in the surveillance infrastructure provides important features which can be exploited by the ATM Network, from full network-wide surveillance coverage to high performance, more efficient flight profiles and increased safety. The course gives example of ADS-B and Multilateration implementation from a technical, operational and financial point of view.
This 4 days SUR ADS-B/MLAT course focuses on all of these aspects.
It includes training from technical personnel directly involved in their local implementation, a business case study and also includes a session on the how those surveillance data are integrated in our current surveillance environment and on the security aspects.
This course is focusing on the implementation of ADS-B and Multilateration.
After completing the course, participants will have an understanding of the operational and technical aspects of ADS-B and multilateration, and a deeper knowledge of multilateration implementation (WAM and LAM).
This course is designed for operational, technical, managerial ATM staff interested in the automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast and multilateration techniques, especially with a view to implementation in their own environment.
