Airport Capacity [APT-CAP]

Classroom Course
Capacity is a critical factor in airport development. Despite recent difficulties facing the market, air transport has proved to be a resilient industry showing long-term growth trends in passenger and aircraft movement numbers. Currently planned airport developments are not likely to meet all forecast demand and some airports are already facing severe capacity constraints during peak times causing pressure on infrastructure and resulting in congestion and delays. Therefore, the industry must address the subject of airport capacity to achieve sustainable growth.
